The only reason manufacturers are selling this third type of golf balls in a cheaper price is for the purpose of discontinuing that certain line of design. Just like in all other clearance sales, closeout balls are sold just until supplies last to make way for new designs that is why they are called as such.

Next would be the refurbished golf balls. They are fixed and packaged to look brand new. Refurbished balls however are not suitable for a serious game. Even with its new appearance, there is no guarantee that the core is still dense. At most it is advised that refurbished balls are used in practice games and normal rounds of golf.

The resellers and manufacturers of refurbished golf balls may have a conflict of interest; the availability of it in the market is still present. Last would be the Company Extra Golf balls. These are customized golf balls extras that are sold at a cheap price to get rid of it quickly. Buying cheap balls is a good way to cut off expenses. Giving in to golf as a hobby is no less than but a serious spending that is why saving a couple of dollars on practice balls is a good way to start it off.
